New Years Day

The essence of youth, the New Year, impatience, identity, the emotive marker, the murmuring of generations, the running of a thread, the memory stacks, the legacy. I have these four photographs of my family, taken over a 92 year period, where the sense of the new forever stays the same and along the way gets older. Death sits right there in the re-birth, that's our legacy, the sum of all that survives us, immortality staring us in the face.
